The Pool Table: King of Game Room Decor

Want to be the guy who's got the best "man cave"? Get a pool table.

It does not necessarily have to be international standard, so long as it is friendly to everyone.

If one is on a budget and they require a decent table, or maybe they have kids and don’t want something that can’t take years of beatings, cheap used tables are the way to go.

They are found in garage sales or pubs that are upgrading and can be kept for a long time until a better one is preferred. If on the other hand money is not a problem or a more personal touch is preferred, then customized or professional tables can be bought or ordered in stores.

Yes you’ll also need seating and billiard chairs or bar stools. Comfort and look of these is vital to choice. There are many options available out there. Fabric ones with cup holders are an example of some spectator chairs for people watching or waiting to play. If a few swivel bar stools are added then the game room tone is set.

Since the pool table is your centerpiece in this kind of game room decor  layout, then probably table lighting can be used to light the whole room. There are metal and glass (even faux stained) rectangular shade lights. Alternatively there is another popular choice where a series of shades hang from the ceiling and can be put as many as desired.

You might also consider adding a home wet bar, to give you additional space to entertain and start serving up the drinks on your own bar. If you don't have time to build your own, you might want to call in professionals to do it. They will get the work done in a short while.
